Axwoman
Axwoman was initially developed as an extension to ArcView 3.x for urban morphological analysis, based on space syntax theory, invented by Professor Bill Hillier and his colleagues at the Bartlet School of University College London. Through the implementation, we have successfully brought urban morphological analysis capability to GIS users. Incorporating space syntax to GIS promotes both GIS and urban morphology research. It enhances GIS functionality in spatial analysis into the domain of urban morphological analysis. We have four different versions of Axwoman, which are all freely available for academic purposes.
Version 1.0 as an extension to ArcView 3.x
Version 2.0 is a Java version
Version 3.0 based on ArcView .x with polygon- and point-based space syntax

Recently we have developed new software AxialGen for automating the axial lines
